We’re looking for an Associate Director of Programmatic who can lead strategy for clients while supporting the growth of programmatic in North America. You will be at the forefront of programmatic innovation whilst leading on the largest accounts within the portfolio. You will own client relationships and programmatic strategy. You will be accountable for execution consistency and mentorship. You will be in the weeds, while also partnering with clients, account services, product, and new business teams.

  • Consultative. Lead strategic plan development and oversee all programmatic activations within both a cross-channel team and with Group Account Directors
  • Relationship Focused. Provide the senior voice for programmatic authority, and build relationships with client stakeholders and programmatic partners.
  • Growth Minded. Lead deck creation for programmatic pitches, account audits, business reviews, annual plans and QBRs.

Account & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and programmatic relationship owner
  • Educate clients on industry trends to evolve the maturity of their digital programs
  • Proactive and creative problem solver with the uncanny ability to delegate, multitask, and seamlessly manage tight deadlines

Account Management

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand campaign media and audience objectives, pairing with custom programmatic solutions
  • Perform regular analyses and make data-driven recommendations, following our ‘test and learn’ methodology
  • Implement & use Brainlabs’ tools on all accounts where applicable, while isolating opportunities for automation

Planning & Campaign Excellence

  • Develop and present data-informed strategic approaches, including complementary tactical and audience plans
  • Oversee, support, and coach programmatic talent in implementation — and push them to think beyond the brief
  • Use advanced tracking, targeting, and bidding strategies to deliver on business KPI’s
  • Assist with the implementation of campaigns and QA, including process refinement
  • Help troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, creative approvals or technical anomalies as they arise

Team Management & Leadership

  • Manage up to 5 direct reports and mentor indirect managees utilizing a strengths-based coaching approach
  • Actively participate in wider company initiatives including, but not limited to, new business pitches, cross-sells and internal marketing efforts
  • Cultivate an atmosphere that embraces diversity and inclusion

Essential Skills

  • Deep knowledge of performance media and analytics (can turn data into a story)
  • A high degree of accuracy, vigilance and attention to detail
  • Effectively manage client relationships and internal/external stakeholder expectations
  • Strengths-based coaching mentality
  • Proactive, positive, self-motivated, and an entrepreneur at heart
  • Strong analytical, data interpretation and research skills
  • Proven ability and appetite to learn new technologies, process, and automation quickly
  • Intermediate knowledge of VBA/Excel Macros

Essential Experience

  • Managed programmatic budgets in excess of $250K/month
  • Expert-level knowledge and trading in DV360 and The Trade Desk
  • Experience with brand-to-demand programmatic campaign planning and execution
  • Project task management and ticketing systems

Desirable Experience

  • CM360 (“DCM”) experience, either in collaboration with Ad Ops or directly trafficking
  • Use of a DMP, CDP, CRM connectivity into a DSP or other 1P/2P data augmentation
  • Trading experience in Amazon and Yahoo!
