This is a remote working based role. Initially with part-time hours during the second half of the day, but has the strong potential to move to full time in the future.
Reporting to the Roost Manager of Customer Care, the Customer Care Associate is a core member of a passionate and focused technology start-up in the smart home/property insurance space. You will be part of a team that makes it easy for customers to increase the protection and safety of their home or property. Be prepared to work as a self starter in a fast-paced team environment, and will be responsible for delighting our customers every day as we build lifetime relationships. Our Customer Care Associates are strong internal advocates for Roost’s end customer – to provide assistance, knowledge, and support. You will be responsible for daily customer care and support interactions. This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact on the growth and success of our business. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Smile as you interact with our customers
Make responsible and independent decisions keeping the best interest of your customers and Roost in mind
Work within Zendesk platform to support customers via email, chat or telephone on a daily basis to
- Provide installation and product service assistance
- Point them to resources
- Help them use our products successfully
Deliver exceptional customer service to potential and existing customers
Requirements
Telemarketing and/or Sales experience (inbound/outbound) very helpful.
Experience working with support systems and Zendesk or similar – strong plus.
Must be high-energy and have a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and make a high volume of calls and emails per shift.
This position is remote based from your home.
