My client is working on a fast-paced transformation to expand their cloud data integration, management, and analytics application; the global team’s main responsibility is building out the future of financial data management and analysis. This role will be working very closely with clients and engineering team on building tools and integrations that gathering, cleaning, normalizing, and optimizing data from the various sources and vendors. Responsibilities include:
- Building out data integrations into a single cloud database for data vendors
- Designing new data structures and analytic capabilities with the engineering team
- Enhance/design the core data model with new datasets, security mappings, and indexes
- Automate ingestion and validation tools to help with efficiency
Skills needed:
- At least 3+ or more years of software/data engineering experience
- Programming/scripting experience with Python, R, or others
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Extensive technical skills using SQL or similar
- Must have experience working with data structures and queries for financial datasets
