C4Media, Inc. is looking for a Demand Generation Specialist (Contractor) to join our fully remote, global team.

You’ll own digital marketing campaigns that drive QCon registrations, certification enrollments, and InfoQ Live registrations. This is a hands-on, results-driven role where you’ll write copy, manage email campaigns and audience segments, run paid advertising, analyze performance, and continuously improve our marketing processes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced digital marketer who enjoys building repeatable campaigns, reaching new audiences, and writing compelling content for a technical audience of senior software engineers and architects. Experience with marketing conferences, certifications, courses, or professional development is a strong plus.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end demand generation campaigns for QCon, certifications, and InfoQ Live.
• Create email sequences, landing page copy, social posts, and paid ad copy.
• Manage audience segmentation, exclusions, automations, and email campaigns.
• Plan and execute organic and paid campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and social channels.
• Track and report weekly on registrations, enrollments, cost per registration, and revenue.
• Maintain marketing dashboards, trackers, and campaign calendars.
• Test new channels and strategies to reach audiences beyond our existing database.
• Build repeatable campaign processes and continuously improve performance.
• Coordinate campaigns across products while managing shared audiences and contact limits.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, content creation, testing, analysis, and automation.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and demand generation, with a strong focus on email and lifecycle marketing.
• Proven experience driving measurable registrations, enrollments, leads, or sales.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Brevo, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong copywriting skills for technical audiences.
• Experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA4, and organic social media.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• A proactive approach to staying current with marketing platforms, tools, trends, and best practices.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve marketing performance and productivity.

Remote Work Requirements

• Must reside in Europe
• Able to work in a full-time remote position
• Able to work in overlap with our core global office hours (9 AM – 1 PM EST)
• Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home-office setup
• Willing and able to travel to the USA or Europe 13 times per year for conferences and company meetings
