SaaS tech company looking for a Manager of Software Development. This person will oversee a team of 40 engineers and shape the roadmap of their platform.
Requirements:
- Experience managing large teams of engineers (10-20+ people)
- JVM language background (Java, Scala, Kotlin etc.)
- Architecture and code review experience
- Led teams through full product cycles
- Bonus: AI/ML or distributed systems experience
Responsibilities:
- Oversee team of 40 engineers
- Collaborate with upper management as well as Product, QA, & Design teams
- Manage, mentor, and lead teams of software engineers
- Shape roadmap of platform
- Code reviews and hands-on architecture
Compensation: base + bonus + equity
