Job Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Sales Recruiter to help accelerate the growth of our Business Development team! The ideal candidate is a Swiss-army knife: experienced in full-cycle recruiting for sales roles, able to act as a generalist if necessary (assist with headcount planning, onboarding, etc.), and analyze metrics to ensure revenue plan remains on-target with various sales hires ramping up/down constantly. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for making sure that our Business Development team is well-staffed and equipped to meet revenue targets.

Priority consideration will be given to candidates with previous experience at a digital marketing agency, or other startups with agile and high-velocity hiring cultures.

Role:

  • Partner with Business Development team leaders and the Executive team to understand hiring objectives, standard BDR ramp-up/down cadences, and develop recruiting strategies to hit headcount goals (and ultimately, ensure the team remains on target to meet revenue goals).
  • Analyze analytics on Workable to ensure accurate reporting of hiring progress, and report such results back to the Executive team.
  • Diligently generate a healthy pipeline of high-quality candidates by driving initiatives internally and externally.
  • Develop scalable processes and key metrics to track performance; constantly refine said processes to ensure hiring does not become a bottleneck for revenue growth.
  • Work with external vendors/partners (i.e. Overpass, EBQ, Alleyoop, etc.) to train and onboard new BDRs.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience with full-cycle recruiting – with an emphasis on filling sales roles.
  • Intuitive understanding of how sales-specific HR connects to and impacts the Business Development team’s overall revenue growth/targets.
  • Experience sourcing and closing candidates ranging from entry-level SDRs to senior management positions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment and provide a team with clarity if the situation is ambiguous.
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels.
  • Possess relentless drive, determination and grit especially when it comes to finding and connecting with the best talent.
  • Basic understanding of how to work with external vendors/partners to fill open positions, and negotiate a beneficial financial arrangement for both parties.
