Were looking for a Sr. Product Designer to create delightful, accessible, and memorable experiences for our web and mobile products. You will work with Product, Data, and Engineering to translate user needs and to craft inventive designs and beautiful user experiences. In this role, you will oversee full cycle design projects, from storyboarding through launch. You will build visual design systems, prototype experiences, and speak with end-users to create impactful products. Most importantly, you will apply your craft to not only pixels and vectors, but also the future of transportation.
What youll be doing

- Oversee the end-to-end design process to frame problems, uncover needs, and prototype interfaces
- Create user journey, user scenarios, wireframes, and UI designs through the full-cycle product development process
- Design beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive user experiences and flows
- Own and drive design projects from ideation through execution
- Identify the needs of Getaround users and improve features across web and mobile
- Contextualize the holistic impact of your designs in the dynamic marketplace ecosystem
- Conduct user testing, engage with customers, present research results, and prototype iteratively
- Advocate for everyday Renters and Owners using the Getaround marketplace
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ship the highest quality experiences
- Prototype, test, and deliver designs that create memorable and delightful outcomes for users
What youll need

- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent
- 5+ years of product design experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent portfolio showcasing original and impactful designs for web & mobile consumer applications
- Proven product design, UI design, and visual design skills
- Ability to prototype interactive iOS, Android, and web experiences
- Deep understanding of the user journey for two-sided marketplaces
- Experience with human-centered approaches to interface design and interaction design
- Track record of leading large-scale, impactful projects
- Comfortable collaborating with remote teams, reaching out early and often throughout the design process
