We are looking for a highly self motivated individual to join our team of Compliance Officers. You will be responsible for interacting with Hospitals within your remit, providing guidance, training and support. Your key role will be to monitor hospital compliance against our customers targets whilst seeking ways to improve these by providing best practice recommendations and creating escalation paths to facilitate improvement.  Full training provided however a key attribute is that applicants must be confident in their ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences and seniority levels.

This role is focussed on the Health industry and is not related to the legal, financial, GDPR or governance sectors.

Responsibilities:

• To take full ownership of all Hospital units allocated, with regards to the functions associated to the Registry contracts which NEC provide, including;

• KPI Monitoring

  • Analysis of all unit performance statistics using centralised data tools

  • Targeting of poor performing units and management of these units through an improvement and escalation plan

  • Detailed, accurate and timely progress reporting both internally and to client

• Training

  • Supporting units through the data entry training process

  • Gain a deep understanding of the Registry data and applications and use this knowledge to teach our user community

  • Presentations to stakeholders, upon request, regarding NEC Registry applications, the data itself, how it is calculated, interpreted and presented.

• Data Quality

  • Act as liaison and 2-way support between hospitals within your remit and the NEC Data Quality team

• Queries

  • Manage and resolve all queries logged for the hospitals under your remit using the NEC incident management system

  • Identify frequently asked questions and document these in the shared repository

• Events

  • Attendance at Regional and National events representing NEC and our customer’s services

• Feedback system user acceptance testing

  • Participate in user acceptance testing of registry output services (systems, reports etc)

• Maintain contacts database

  • Maintain/update contacts database with staff changes at your hospitals

• To maintain up to date knowledge of procedures and policies relevant to this post.

We’re looking for a Billing System Engineer who will help us develop and ensure the stability of our billing systems. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Comarch BSS platform, combining technical expertise with a good understanding of business processes.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working in a complex system environment, likes getting to the root cause of issues, and wants to have a real impact on the reliability and further development of billing solutions.

What will you work on?

• maintaining and configuring the Comarch BSS platform, particularly Product Catalog, Billing and Billing Mediation,

• investigating data issues and identifying their root causes,

• monitoring system interfaces and integrations to ensure uninterrupted end-to-end data flows,

What you’ll do: 

• Executing pricing updates within our G-P platform and Salesforce
• Coordinating end-to-end processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant country specific fee changes estimated employer burden, Indirect Tax, admin fees, VISA costs, etc.

What we’re looking for: 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience across corporate finance and accounting, ideally with experience in SaaS company with multiple products and regions

We’re hiring a Principal Compliance Associate to take on the function’s most complex casework, and help shape how we detect and cover market abuse as the business scales.

The opportunity

• Own complex investigations end to end, writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on, and present conclusions to a range of stakeholders.

• Lead or contribute to periodic threshold and model reviews, recalibrating surveillance rules and alert thresholds as trading behaviour, products and market structure evolve.

• Support the design, build-out and integration of surveillance platform capability, including onboarding new products, venues and data sources onto the surveillance system.

• Contribute to market abuse risk assessments, helping identify and score risk across products, jurisdictions and entities, and translate findings into surveillance coverage.

• Use AI and automation tools responsibly to speed up evidence-gathering, case reconstruction and detection-model development, always with human judgement over the final call.

• Support conflicts of interest, information barrier, and personal account dealing matters across Markets Compliance, extending beyond surveillance casework where buy-side or asset management experience is directly relevant.

What you bring

• Experience investigating market abuse or trading conduct inside a firm subject to market conduct regulation, such as an exchange, broker-dealer, trading venue, or comparable regulated trading business.

• A track record running investigations end to end, including writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on and presenting conclusions to stakeholders.

• Working knowledge of core market abuse typologies e.g. spoofing, wash trading, insider trading, front running, ramping.

• Experience with, or strong working knowledge of, threshold and model calibration, surveillance platform integration, market abuse risk assessments, and audit remediation.

• Comfort using generative AI and other automation tools to improve the speed and quality of investigative work, while maintaining the human oversight regulated casework requires.

• Familiarity with a surveillance platform (such as Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, Eventus, or NICE Actimize) and comfort with SQL or a similar query tool for evidence-gathering.

• Clear, evidence-first written communication – your case files, escalations and regulatory drafts will sometimes be read by auditors and regulators without you in the room to explain them.

• Exposure to crypto-asset markets is welcomed but not required. What matters most is regulated-market investigation experience; strong candidates from traditional securities or derivatives markets are encouraged to apply.

We are seeking an experienced and driven MLRO to lead the financial crime compliance programmes across Payward Ltd (PWL) and Payward Services Ltd (PSL), two FCA-regulated UK entities within the Kraken Group. This is a senior role with end-to-end responsibility for the effectiveness of the firms’ anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and sanctions controls.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of financial crime risk management. This includes maintaining a robust control framework, advising on risk treatment across products and clients, and overseeing the operation and continuous improvement of transaction monitoring and sanctions screening systems.

The opportunity

• Oversight of the AML/CTF and sanctions compliance frameworks across PWL and PSL

• Develop, implement and maintain the firm’s AML/CTF policies, controls and procedures, ensuring that any global policies, controls and procedures meet UK regulatory requirements

• Oversight of transaction monitoring, internal SAR and external SAR/DAML reporting

• Oversight of CDD, EDD, enhanced monitoring and sanctions screening processes for the UK

• Approve all new high risk client relationships and all periodic review outcomes of existing HRCs

• Maintain and regularly update the firms’ business-wide financial crime risk assessments

• Provide expert advice on AML and sanctions compliance across the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, periodic review, and investigations

• Coordinate internal assurance activity and support external audits and regulatory reviews of the financial crime framework

• Deliver training and awareness programmes to ensure staff understand their financial crime responsibilities

• Prepare regular reporting and MI for senior management, risk committees, and the board

• Lead delivery of UK MLRO team monthly review of UK corporate clients

• Produce an annual MLRO report to the Board of Directors that assesses the overall AML/CTF framework and highlights emerging risks and improvements planned

• Review monthly compliance and AML MI in order to identify trends, issues and ensure appropriate mitigation / escalation to the Board where appropriate

• Attend relevant Committee meetings and Board meetings, support Executive decision making, escalate AML program related issues

• Lead on strategic AML framework initiatives/implementations (e.g. Travel Rule)

• Horizon scanning – monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely updates to internal policies and procedures

• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required:

  • Regular engagement with FCA supervisory team

  • PoC for NCA

  • Support LEAs with setting up accounts

What you bring

• Significant experience in AML/CTF and financial crime compliance within a regulated financial services firm

• Deep understanding of the UK Money Laundering Regulations, Proceeds of Crime Act, UK sanctions regime (OFSI), and relevant industry guidance (e.g. JMLSG)

• Proven track record of operating or overseeing transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence systems
