We are looking for a talented and experienced 2D Spine Animator to join our iGaming team and bring engaging slot game experiences to life through high-quality animation and visual effects.
Remote USA only
Candidates must be based in the United States and have a valid SSN (Social Security Number).
This is a fully remote position, but we can only consider candidates who are currently located in the US and have a valid SSN.
You'll work closely with artists, game designers, developers, and producers to create dynamic, polished, and performance-optimized animations that enhance gameplay and player engagement.
The ideal candidate understands the slot game production pipeline, has strong expertise in Spine, and can turn static game assets into compelling, production-ready animations.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with designers, artists, developers, and producers to define and maintain the animation style and visual quality of slot games.
Create high-quality animations for symbols, characters, backgrounds, UI elements, logos, game features, and promotional materials.
Bring static 2D assets to life through smooth, dynamic, and engaging animation.
Prepare, organize, and optimize animation assets for seamless game integration and performance.
Ensure animations meet visual, technical, and performance requirements across different platforms.
Work closely with developers and technical artists to ensure smooth implementation of animations in the game.
Manage and track animation assets throughout the production process.
Contribute to improving animation workflows, pipelines, and production standards within the team.
Help shape the animation style and visual identity of new slot titles.
Who You Are
2+ years of professional experience as an Animator, preferably in iGaming, slot games, mobile games, or game development.
Strong expertise in Spine and a solid understanding of 2D game animation principles.
Strong understanding of the slot game animation pipeline and production process.
Ability to create smooth, polished, and visually engaging animations optimized specifically for gameplay.
Understanding of timing, transitions, anticipation, secondary motion, and other animation principles.
Experience working with existing 2D assets and adapting animation to established art styles.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
Passion for games, animation, and creating visually exciting player experiences.
Currently based in the USA and holding a valid SSN.
Extra Points For
Previous experience working on iGaming / slot game titles.
Strong portfolio demonstrating game animation and Spine work.
Experience collaborating closely with technical artists and developers.
Understanding of VFX, UI animation, and promotional animation.
Familiarity with game engines and technical aspects of animation integration.
Experience optimizing animations for performance and different devices.
Experience with additional animation or VFX tools.
Ability and willingness to use and learn modern AI tools such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, and similar solutions.
