About our client: We've been in media buying and traffic arbitrage for years, and we're building a platform that saves buyers from switching between anti-detect browsers and dozens of tabs.
What it already does: account connection, campaign launch, consolidated analytics across all accounts, bulk actions.
Ad platforms: Facebook and TikTok are live, Google Ads is in development.
Users: our own media buying teams, who already do most of their work through the platform.
Verticals: gambling, nutra, dating, crypto.
Accounts are connected only via official APIs (Meta Marketing API, TikTok Marketing API, Google Ads API). Design system and mockups live in Figma; development makes heavy use of AI tools.
What you'll do
Talk to media buyers: run interviews, collect feedback, analyze incidents and turn pain points into tasks.
Write user stories, acceptance criteria and specs with edge cases.
Prepare solution options with cost and risk estimates.
Prioritize the backlog (RICE/ICE or similar) and manage it in Jira.
Review and approve Figma mockups before development.
Understand the capabilities and limitations of Meta, TikTok and Google ad APIs when designing new features.
Validate data: write SQL queries, reconcile dashboard numbers with sources.
Accept completed tasks from development.
First 3 months
Dive into the product and take over all incoming requests and feedback.
Bring the Google Ads integration up to the level of Facebook and TikTok.
Design the financial module: deals, postbacks, leads and revenue.
Build reporting for the finance team.
By month 6
Run the full product process from idea to release.
Shape the quarterly roadmap.
What matters to us
Experience as a BA, Product Owner or Product Manager in an IT product. Real results matter more than years. Experience combining roles (one person from idea to acceptance) is a big plus.
Performance marketing background: the media buying funnel, Meta, TikTok and Google Ads accounts, CPL, CPA, ROAS, FTD, attribution and tracking.
Understanding of the affiliate model: CPL, CPA, CRG, RevShare and hybrid deals; S2S postbacks; trackers (Keitaro, Binom or similar); reconciling leads and payouts with partners.
Writing user stories, acceptance criteria, specs with edge cases, and solution options with cost.
Reading mockups and prototypes in Figma.
SQL at the level of selects and aggregates; ability to read dashboards and check numbers by hand.
Experience working with advertising teams: interviews, feedback, incident reviews.
Proactivity: you bring ideas and push tasks forward without being chased.
Nice to have
Experience with adtech/martech products: trackers, arbitrage CRMs, ad platforms, anti-fraud systems.
Knowledge of Meta Marketing API, TikTok Marketing API, Google Ads API and Merchant Center at the "what it can and can't do" level.
Experience passing Meta App Review or Google OAuth verification.
Experience building financial reporting for traffic: revenue, spend, reconciliations.
Background as a media buyer or arbitrage team lead before moving into product.
UX writing.
Active use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for specs and analysis.
