About
This is a mobile product that helps people understand their current mental state, identify how they want to feel or function, and discover a personalized path to move from where they are now to where they want to be.
The product turns self-awareness into action – helping users better understand what is happening with them and providing practical, personalized recommendations to support meaningful change in their mental state and everyday experience.
The MVP is already built, with a Product Manager, COO, CTO, Developer, and a team of Medical Advisors supporting the product with relevant medical and health expertise.

The opportunity
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Co-founder & CEO who is ready to take ownership of Humanist as a business and build the venture from MVP to a scalable product.
This is not a traditional CEO role in an established company. We are looking for a founder, entrepreneur, or startup builder who is comfortable with uncertainty, validates ideas through action, and is ready to personally drive the business forward.
The role offers the opportunity to receive up to 25% equity, linked to achieving agreed business milestones and results.

What you will own
Define the vision, positioning, target audience, and business strategy for Humanist.
Identify the strongest customer problems and use cases and validate them with the market.
Develop and test the monetization and business model.
Turn the MVP into a product people genuinely want to use and pay for.
Define and execute the go-to-market strategy and acquire the first paying users.
Build growth channels and partnerships.
Work closely with the Product Manager and technology team to prioritize development based on customer needs and business impact.
Own key business metrics: users, activation, retention, conversion, revenue, CAC, LTV, and unit economics.
Manage resources and budget, connecting product and business decisions to financial results.
Build the team and capabilities needed to scale the venture.
Make key build / change / scale / stop decisions based on data, customer feedback, and financial results.

Who we are looking for
A founder, co-founder, entrepreneur, or startup builder with experience launching and developing digital products.
Experience taking a product from MVP to market validation and commercial traction.
Strong understanding of product-market fit, monetization, and go-to-market.
Strong commercial and financial mindset able to connect decisions with users, revenue, costs, profitability, and return on investment.
Ability to operate autonomously and take full ownership of the outcome.
Comfortable working with a small cross-functional team and leading without a large existing organization.
Ability to make decisions in conditions of uncertainty and move quickly from hypothesis to action.
Genuine motivation to build a business and have meaningful equity in its success.
Experience with mobile B2C products, consumer apps, wellness, mental wellbeing, behavioral products, or subscription businesses would be a strong advantage.

What success looks like
The key objective is to turn Humanist from an MVP into a validated and commercially viable mobile business.
Success means:
a clearly defined and validated target audience;
a strong, evidence-based value proposition;
a tested monetization model;
first paying users and growing revenue;
measurable engagement and retention;
healthy or promising unit economics;
a clear and data-driven path to scale.
We are looking for someone who can not only build a product, but turn it into a business.
