We're looking for a Community & Social Media Manager to become the voice of a fast-growing AI startup across Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp. This is a hands-on creator role: you'll shoot, edit, and design content every day rather than directing others to do it. Alongside daily content, you'll engage and grow a large global community of contributors, step in quickly when questions or concerns spread in group chats, and build partnerships with creators who can tell the company's story to new audiences. The community is especially strong in Brazil, so a feel for Brazilian internet culture and the Portuguese language will make a real difference. You'll own both the strategy and the execution for the company's social channels, with a lot of autonomy and little process to slow you down. It suits someone who has grown social channels for a consumer app, marketplace, or creator brand and has the numbers to show for it.

About the project:
The company is a Y Combinator-backed startup that supplies real-world training data to frontier AI labs and robotics companies working toward embodied AGI. Its data comes from a global network of more than 150,000 contributors who record first-person footage of real work. That network is the heart of the business, so community, trust and clear communication matter as much as the technology. Social media is the main way the company reaches, recruits and keeps contributors, and Brazil and the US are its key markets. The team is small and moves fast, and this hire will own the brand's presence on short-form video and messaging platforms from day one. It's a chance to shape how a large, international, mobile-first audience sees a new kind of work.

You have:
3+ years running social media and community for a consumer app, marketplace, or creator brand
Hands-on content creation skills: you shoot, edit, and design yourself, using tools like CapCut, Premiere, Figma, or Canva
A portfolio showing measurable results, such as account growth, viral videos, or community-building metrics
Strong short-form video instincts for TikTok and Instagram
Fluent English, spoken and written
Experience working with creators and user-generated content
Comfort working with high ownership in a fast-paced startup environment
Ideally, fluent or native Portuguese
Ideally, experience in the Brazilian market and a deep understanding of Brazilian internet culture
Ideally, experience using GenAI tools for video, images, subtitles, and translation (e.g., Higgsfield)
Ideally, working knowledge of Spanish

What to do:
Own the company's presence on Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp, from strategy through daily execution
Shoot, edit, and design short-form video and visual content every day
Use GenAI tools to speed up video, image, subtitle, and translation workflows
Engage and grow the global contributor community, with a particular focus on Brazil and the US
Moderate community channels and respond quickly to concerns, rumours, or crises (e.g., questions about payouts) in group chats
Find, partner with, and manage creators and user-generated content to reach new audiences
Track channel and community metrics and use them to refine content and grow reach
Turn complex AI and robotics topics into simple, engaging content for a broad consumer audience
