About the role:

Academy Smart is a software development company specializing in custom learning platforms, LMS solutions, integrations, and digital products for education and training businesses.
Hypogen is our technology and AI-focused direction, where we work on modern software solutions, AI-powered products, and complex digital systems.
We are looking for a Content Writer who can turn our expertise, projects, and ideas into high-quality content that is useful, interesting, and genuinely written for people not generated by AI.

Responsibilities:
Blog content
Research and write original, expert-level articles for the Academy Smart and Hypogen websites.
Develop topics around LMS, EdTech, custom software development, AI, integrations, learning platforms, and digital transformation.
Interview or collaborate with our internal experts to turn their knowledge into strong content.
Structure articles for both readers and SEO without making them sound like SEO-generated content.
Maintain a consistent tone of voice across our content.

LinkedIn content
Develop and execute a LinkedIn content strategy for Academy Smart and Hypogen.
Create posts for company pages and, where needed, support content for company experts and leaders.
Turn company expertise, project experience, industry trends, and internal insights into engaging LinkedIn content.
Plan content topics and publishing calendars.
Analyze content performance and adjust the strategy based on engagement and audience response.

Newsletter
Take ownership of the Academy Smart newsletter.
Research and develop topics for new editions.
Write short, insightful newsletter pieces that provide practical value to our audience.
Maintain a consistent editorial style and voice.
Work with the team to identify topics based on our projects, expertise, and market trends.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional content writing experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, IT, technology, EdTech, or software development.
Excellent written English C1+ level.
Strong ability to explain complex technical topics in simple and engaging language.
Experience writing long-form articles and LinkedIn content.
Understanding of content marketing and basic SEO principles.
Ability to research independently and find reliable information.
Strong editorial skills: structure, clarity, grammar, storytelling, and attention to detail.
Ability to work with subject-matter experts and extract useful information from them.
Understanding of LinkedIn as a content and business-development channel.
Ability to manage a content calendar and work independently.

Very important: human-written content
We are specifically looking for a writer, not an AI content operator.
Our content needs to be original, thoughtful, and based on real expertise and research. AI-generated or AI-rewritten content is not what we are looking for.
We may use tools for research, editing, spelling, or other supporting tasks, but the actual ideas, structure, voice, and writing should come from you.

Our ideal candidate
You are someone who can take a topic like:
Why companies outgrow their LMS"
and turn it into a thoughtful piece that explains the actual business problem, provides useful insights, challenges common assumptions, and makes the reader want to continue reading.
You don't just write articles." You understand why a particular piece of content should exist, who it is for, and what we want the reader to take away from it.

Test task
As part of the hiring process, we will ask you to complete a short writing task.
You will be needed to select a topic and write a ~300-character newsletter piece in the style and direction of the Academy Smart newsletter.
The purpose of the task is to evaluate:
Writing quality and clarity
Ability to communicate an idea concisely
Understanding of a B2B technology audience
Ability to create an engaging opening
Originality and human writing style
Tone and editorial judgment
