The Role
We're looking for a Head of Amazon PPC & Client Services to lead advertising strategy, oversee key client relationships, and drive high standards across our client portfolio.
Working directly with the CEO and COO, you'll be the strategic go-to person for key clients and our internal PPC team. You'll combine hands-on involvement in Amazon advertising with team leadership, shaping strategy, strengthening client partnerships, and improving how we deliver results.

What You Will Own
Client Relationships & Escalations
Take senior ownership of key client relationships and act as the main escalation point for complex or high-impact situations.
Support Team Leads in navigating strategic trade-offs between growth, profitability, and market defence.
Lead critical client conversations to resolve challenges, align expectations, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Advertising Strategy & Best Practices
Own and continuously improve Headline's Amazon advertising strategy across PPC and DSP, covering profitability, ranking, growth, and market defence.
Define strategic principles for campaign structure, experimentation, and budget allocation.
Turn data and performance insights into repeatable approaches, moving the team from reactive optimisation to structured, proactive decision-making.
Team & Quality Leadership
Lead and develop 3 Team Leads, strengthening their strategic thinking and decision-making.
Set and maintain high standards for advertising strategy and execution across client accounts.
Challenge weak or misaligned strategies and drive consistent quality across the team.

Who This Role Is For
You could be a great fit if you:
Have 4+ years of experience in Amazon advertising or marketplace management.
Have experience with AMC and Amazon PPC/DSP integration.
Bring proven people-management experience, ideally leading team leads.
Have managed substantial advertising budgets and complex client accounts.
Are confident working directly with founders and senior stakeholders.
Enjoy developing people, building strong processes, and setting strategic standards, not just optimising campaigns.
Think beyond ACOS, balancing profitability, growth, and market share.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on while leading at a strategic level, rather than working in a purely advisory capacity or within a highly corporate environment.
