We are a rapidly scaling company currently making substantial investments in the development of our internal processes and corporate governance. The corporate security function does not yet exist within the company you will be the first person in this role and will build it from the ground up, with direct influence on key business decisions.

The purpose of this role is the comprehensive protection of the company's assets, information, and interests through the creation of an integrated security system spanning financial-economic, information, and internal security that minimizes the risks of loss, fraud, and misconduct, while simultaneously supporting business stability and scalability.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Building the corporate and internal security function from the ground up: developing policies, control processes, and reporting systems.
Protecting the company's key assets: trade secrets, administrative access, and critical business processes.
Monitoring financial transactions and implementing the principles of segregation of duties in payment processes.
Conducting internal investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, or conflicts of interestboth independently and in collaboration with relevant departments.
Building an access control and activity logging system.
Liaising with banks and payment providers regarding the security of financial flows.
Forming and developing your own team as the function grows.

Candidate Requirements:

7+ years of experience in a similar role in the field of corporate security, with experience in investigations and building internal control systems (FinTech, Blockchain, or high-risk sectors).
Proven experience in building a security function from the ground up.
Team management experience.
Understanding of digital business and cash flows: understanding of transaction mechanisms, knowledge of international payment systems (IBAN, SWIFT).
Experience investigating complex fraud cases (including the following types: user identity fraud, affiliate fraud), collusion between employees and third parties, and theft.
In-depth understanding of the principles of financial control and separation of duties.
Understanding of the principles of access control and activity logging.
Fluency in English at a working level (spoken and written).
Willingness to undergo polygraph testing on a regular basis.
