A Junior / Junior+ Bookkeeper is responsible for recording and maintaining a company's financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments. The Bookkeeper will enter financial data into general ledgers and help maintain accurate financial records used to prepare financial statements.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior / Junior+ Bookkeeper to join our team.

In this role, you will support the accurate and efficient recording and maintenance of the company's financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include recording purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments, as well as entering financial data into general ledgers.

The ideal candidate will have 12 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience, good attention to detail, basic knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks.

Requirements

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.

Enter financial data into general ledgers and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Assist with account reconciliation and help resolve discrepancies.

Assist in preparing financial statements such as the balance sheet and income statement.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

Follow established accounting procedures and company policies.

Support senior accounting team members with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.

Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
