Our client is a high-tech FinTech product company building payment infrastructure that connects traders (liquidity providers) and merchants (liquidity buyers) within a single ecosystem.
Our platform ensures stable, uninterrupted 24/7 transaction processing, transforming complex and fragmented P2P flows into manageable and predictable financial infrastructure.
For our clients, the key value lies not only in financial terms, but above all in system stability, transaction processing speed, and the minimization of operational risks.
As the company continues to scale and expand into new markets, we are looking for a Launcher / Founding Country GM to launch a new geography from scratch, build the local supply and operational infrastructure, and ultimately take ownership of the market as an independent P&L.

What we expect from you:
Proven experience launching a new market, country, or business unit from scratch to measurable results;
genuine zero-to-one experience: you personally sourced partners, led negotiations, and closed the first deals;
experience building a partner / supply network or another side of a two-sided marketplace;
experience hiring the first local team and building operational processes from the ground up;
strong commercial and operational thinking, with a solid understanding of unit economics, business metrics, and P&L;
an entrepreneurial mindset, high degree of autonomy, and ability to operate without an established structure or predefined roadmap;
ability to make fast decisions and take ownership of results in a dynamic, high-risk environment.

Nice to have:
Experience in payments / PSP, FinTech, iGaming, alternative payment methods, banking partnerships, or marketplace businesses;
experience launching new markets or building supply networks at companies such as Uber, Bolt, Glovo, Careem, inDrive, or other businesses with a similar marketplace model.

Key responsibilities:
Launch a new geography from scratch: personally lead the first 2030 negotiations, onboard the first traders and payment partners, build the local supply network, and launch the first payment corridor;
independently hire the first 35 employees, including participating in the search for a Head of Supply, and gradually build the local operations and supply teams;
work closely with the HQ R&D team to adapt the platform to local payment infrastructure, test solutions, and ensure stable product operations;
build a 24/7 operating model, including pay-in / payout processes, SLAs, escalations, partner communication, and on-call coverage;
take ownership of the geography's unit economics and P&L, managing volumes, margins, and costs while driving the market toward break-even;
within 612 months, validate the market's potential and path to profitability or provide a well-supported recommendation to close the geography;
following a successful launch, scale the geography as an independent business unit, with the potential to grow the team to approximately 150250 people within 23 years.
