We're hiring a Head of Marketing for our crypto-fintech product: a card and wallet for Ukrainians in Europe, Canada and Ukraine. We're also building travel benefits, a VIP program and a referral program. Next up is expansion to LATAM and Turkey.

Role focus
We need a strong hands-on marketing lead who owns all of marketing: brand, acquisition and retention. You'll write the strategy yourself and also go into the details: set up campaigns, review creatives, dig into the numbers.
There's already a small team: an influencer manager, SMM, CRM and a performance specialist (Google, Meta). You won't be managing a large department. You'll bring these channels into one system with clear metrics.

Responsibilities:
Build the marketing strategy and allocate the budget across channels
Own the brand: positioning, tone of voice, visual consistency
Drive acquisition: performance, SMM, content, influencers, partnerships, referral program
Drive retention: CRM communications (push, email, in-app), onboarding, reactivation, VIP segment
Track funnel metrics: CAC, LTV, onboarding conversion, retention cohorts
Lead the team and contractors while staying hands-on

Goals for the first 3 months:
A marketing strategy and plan
All channels tested
The first 3,000 active users

Requirements:
5+ years in marketing, including 2+ years leading marketing as a whole (several channels, not just one)
Experience in fintech or crypto
B2C mobile app experience, with responsibility for acquisition and retention measured in numbers
Experience attracting a Ukrainian audience, ideally the crypto audience
Performance marketing (Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads) and unit economics
CRM and lifecycle marketing, segmentation
Funnel and cohort analytics, basic SQL or BI
ASO and attribution (AppsFlyer, Adjust)
Understanding of ad restrictions for crypto and financial products
English B2

Nice to have:
Launching a product in new markets
Experience with the Ukrainian diaspora abroad
Early-stage startup experience
Marketing card products
