We are a small remote-first product company and looking for a new middle PHP developer to join our team.

Keywords: Symfony, PHP 7.3, Doctrine, PHPUnit, gitlab CI/CD, Docker, Postgress, RabbitMQ, React, Redux, TypeScript, Shopify, API, Amazon MWS, Ebay.

We are a small production company where all developers working remotely. Now we are looking for a new developer to join our team.

Our main specialization is working on a platform that helps merchants integrate their eCommerce shops with global marketplaces like amazon, ebay.

We already have a solution in place to integrate PrestaShop with Amazon and Shopify with Amazon. New integration to Bigcommerce in progress for publishing on apps store.

We are looking for a developer to work with us for 30-40 hours/week on a daily basis. We don’t have a strict schedule, so you can work any time you like, the only requirements in present on daily and on bi-weekly estimation meetings.

The successful candidate can experience in:

– PHP 7.x
– One of modern PHP framework (Symfony preferable, Laravel or Yii also could be an option)
– Relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
– Have experience writing PHPUnit tests (or willing to learn how to do this)
– Know what means SOLID, DRY and how to use it

Nice to have:
– Message Queue (RabbitMQ, Beanstalkd, or any other)
– Basic docker experience

– PrestaShop (mostly small bugfixes)

From a frontend stack:
– React

You don’t need to know all from the list above, but this is something you will work with.

The typical task for engineers: development integration between Shopify and our platform, preparation for release, code review. Bugfixing, help with L2 technical support for customers.

In our team we don’t have QA, so the developer is responsible for a full circle. Started from development and finishing with testing (that’s why we need an automated test). You build it, you ship it, you run it.

Our team speaks the Russian/Ukrainian language, but you will need to know English to read technical documentation and tasks.

The application process will look like this:
– You send your CV
– We ask you to complete a small test task (or as an alternative you show us an example of your code)
– Based on the task result we will schedule a call with the next interview round or provide you feedback on what needs to be improved
– If the interview when well we will send you an offer
