About La Performance

La Performance is a New York performance marketing agency built around eCommerce. Around 75% of its clients are US DTC brands, mostly based in NYC and LA, with apparel as a core category. Some accounts spend a few thousand dollars a month, others up to $500K so you'll see both scrappy growth-stage brands and serious scale.
The agency is small on purpose: two co-founders, a tight media team, a dedicated account team and a strong in-house creative studio. Haven is running this search on La Performance's behalf.

The role in one sentence
You are the person who decides what runs on Meta, what gets more money and what gets switched off across a portfolio of 1015 DTC accounts.

This is a pure media buying seat. The account team handles every client conversation and the creative team handles production, so your time goes where it should: testing, reading the data and scaling what works.

What your week looks like
Every day you check performance across your accounts, catch anomalies early and keep spend on track.
Every week you launch structured tests (creative concepts, messaging angles, audiences), kill losers, scale winners and optimize structure.
Every month you put together budget recommendations and update the channel plan for each account.
Whenever something breaks you dig into tracking and conversion issues and get to the root cause, not just the symptom.
All the time you proactively flag results, risks and opportunities to the team instead of waiting to be asked.

Who we're looking for
35 years of hands-on Meta Ads experience you run accounts independently and don't need someone checking your work.
eCommerce / DTC background is a must. Apparel eComm is the ideal profile you know what seasonality, stock levels and size ranges do to performance.
A structured testing mindset you can explain why a test was set up the way it was and what you learned from it.
Confidence with budget and scaling decisions across multiple accounts at once.
Confident spoken English for daily internal work.
Nice to have: lead gen experience; GA4, GTM, pixel setup, Triple Whale, Polar.

What's NOT on your plate
Client-facing communication owned by the account team.
Creative production owned by the in-house creative team.

Team & reporting
You report to Evan (co-founder, head of media) and work side by side with the Paid Search Specialist, the account team and the in-house creative team.

Fully remote, with overlap with EST until 2:00 PM EST.
Unlimited PTO (2 weeks' notice and manager sign-off).
Flexible engagement model, monthly retainer.
