dNovo Group is a Toronto-based digital marketing agency operating since 2011. We work with clients in the legal, medical, and construction industries, delivering a full 360-degree digital marketing approach.

We are looking for a Senior Digital Account Manager who can confidently lead client relationships, own SEO strategy, and drive measurable performance growth.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role. We are looking for someone ambitious, proactive, and experienced specifically in managing digital marketing clients within an agency environment.

Role Overview

As a Senior Digital Account Manager, you will be the strategic owner of your client portfolio. You will lead communication, manage expectations, oversee SEO strategy, and ensure consistent performance improvements.

This is not a coordination role. We are looking for a strong relationship manager who understands digital marketing deeply and can confidently guide clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Leadership

Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned clients
Lead regular client meetings and performance calls
Maintain consistent, proactive communication
Manage client expectations and resolve issues professionally
Build long-term trusted relationships

SEO Strategy & Performance Ownership

Develop and oversee SEO strategies aligned with client business goals
Conduct advanced keyword research and content planning
Identify technical SEO opportunities and growth areas
Perform website audits and provide actionable recommendations
Monitor rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics
Deliver clear, insightful performance reports
Ensure implementation quality across internal teams

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with content creators, developers, designers, and ad managers
Ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on time
Maintain high standards of quality and accountability

Growth & Retention

Identify upsell opportunities
Proactively recommend improvements and new initiatives
Take ownership of client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications

3+ years experience as an Account Manager in a digital marketing agency
Strong hands-on knowledge of SEO strategy and execution
Proven experience managing digital marketing clients (not general account management)
Deep understanding of keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimization
Proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Search Console
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented

Preference will be given to candidates able to work Toronto business hours.
