Hello, we are looking for a Senior Payments & Antifraud Specialist for our Operations team. This is a new role: you will become the first specialist in this area and the single point of responsibility for payment providers, fraud prevention, and chargebacks across all projects of the group.

Location: Remote (full-time)
Team: Operations, reporting directly to the COO. There is no separate Payments & Antifraud team yet; these functions are currently distributed among different employees. The role has a growth perspective to Head of a separate Payments & Antifraud team as the function develops.
About the role:
The role is hands-on: you manage providers yourself, investigate cases yourself, and set up rules together with the product and development teams.
Requirements:
– 3+ years of hands-on experience in payments and/or antifraud, preferably in iGaming, gambling, betting, or another high-risk vertical
– Hands-on experience with PSPs and payment providers
– Understanding of high-risk processing (cards, P2P, crypto)
– Experience with chargebacks and disputes
– Understanding of fraud prevention, risk scoring, and customer verification (KYC/AML)
– Analytical thinking, confident working with data and Excel / Google Sheets
– Ability to work at the intersection of Payments, Product, Analytics, and Operations
– English at B2 level or higher for communication with international providers
– Ukrainian and Russian at a level sufficient for day-to-day internal communication within the team
Responsibilities:
Payment providers (PSP):
– Search for, evaluate, and onboard new PSPs, acquirers, and alternative payment methods (cards, P2P, crypto, local methods)
– Prepare comparisons of terms: fees, limits, reserves, payout timelines. Take part in negotiations
– Manage communication with current providers: incidents, onboarding, KYB
– Monitor approval rate and declines, investigate the reasons for declines and operational issues
Antifraud and verification:
– Together with Product, Analytics, and development, set up fraud rules, scoring, limits, automatic and manual checks
– Take part in the development of the internal antifraud system: form requirements, test, improve
– Monitor and investigate fraud cases, escalate complex cases
Payouts and chargebacks:
– Verify users and approve payouts within the established limits and rules
– Monitor chargebacks, prepare evidence, and dispute them
– Analyze chargeback causes and propose measures to reduce the chargeback rate
Analytics and reporting:
– Track key metrics: payment approval rate, withdrawal approval rate, payout speed, chargeback rate, transaction cost
– Regularly prepare reports on providers and payment methods
