About the Role
EVIQO is looking for a Head of Customer Support to lead and further develop the company's customer support function.
This person will be responsible for the overall support strategy, team performance, service quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement of the customer experience. The role requires a balance of strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making using AI and automations, and the ability to take ownership of complex customer and operational challenges.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the customer support strategy in line with the company's growth and product goals.
Keep the required product reviews rating.
Lead, develop, and support the customer service team.
Establish service standards, performance expectations, escalation procedures, and quality-control processes.
Continuously improve support workflows, internal procedures, and customer-facing resources, including knowledge base.
Oversee the development and effective use of ticketing, communication, reporting, and knowledge-management systems.
Monitor key support metrics, analyze customer trends, and provide actionable insights to company leadership.
Ensure complex and high-priority customer cases are handled effectively.
Represent the Voice of the Customer and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and other teams.
Identify opportunities for automation, AI implementation, and customer self-service.
Ensure the support function remains scalable as the company, product range, and customer base grow.<\/p>\n
Requirements
Previous experience leading a customer support team.
5+ years of experience in Customer Support, Customer Experience, or Support Operations.
Hiring experience.
Deep experience in Zendesk. Strong understanding of ticketing systems, support workflows, knowledge bases, and customer communication channels.
Experience in AI automations in Customer Support.
Experience building, scaling, or significantly improving support processes.
Ability to work with operational data, define KPIs, and turn analysis into practical improvements.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Fluent written and spoken English.
High level of ownership, independence, and sound judgment.<\/p>\n
Nice to Have
Experience supporting hardware, IoT, consumer electronics, SaaS, or another technically complex product.
Experience with EV charging or automotive products.
Familiarity with AI-powered customer support, automation platforms, APIs, or system integrations.
Experience supporting customers in the US and Canadian markets.
Experience in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer businesses.<\/p>\n
