As we continue expanding globally, we are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) who will be responsible for managing, retaining, and growing relationships with our key merchants and strategic partners.
This role sits at the intersection of client relationships, operations, and commercial growth. You will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensure smooth day-to-day cooperation, coordinate internal teams, and identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships.
Role MissionBuild strong, long-term relationships with key merchants and partners, ensure a high level of service and retention, and drive account growth through deeper cooperation, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for key merchants and strategic partners.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned accounts.
Manage the full account lifecycle after onboarding and ensure smooth ongoing cooperation.
Support merchant onboarding, integrations, and operational activities.
Understand merchants' business models, needs, challenges, and growth plans.
Monitor account performance and identify potential risks or opportunities.
Drive merchant retention, satisfaction, and overall account health.
Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Coordinate internally with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Product, Support, and Technical teams.
Manage merchant requests, escalations, and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct regular account reviews and maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to increase transaction volumes and expand cooperation with existing merchants.
Maintain accurate CRM records, account updates, and commercial information.
Prepare account performance updates and provide relevant client insights to the leadership team.
Represent the company during client meetings, industry events, and conferences when required.<\/p>\n
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Account Management, Key Account Management, Customer Success, Merchant Success, or Client Relationship Management.
Experience within FinTech, Payments, PSP, Acquiring, Banking, SaaS, iGaming, or E-commerce environments is preferred.
Experience managing B2B clients, merchants, or strategic partners.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Good understanding of payment processing workflows, merchant operations, acquiring, or financial services.
Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
Experience coordinating multiple internal stakeholders and departments.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and escalation management skills.
Commercial mindset with the ability to identify account growth opportunities.
Customer-oriented and proactive approach.
Experience working with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar is preferred.
Fluent English.<\/p>\n
Success in the First 90 Days
Successfully onboard into the company's products, payment infrastructure, and account management processes.
Build strong working relationships with assigned merchants and key internal stakeholders.
Gain a clear understanding of each assigned account, including business model, volumes, priorities, and potential risks.
Establish regular communication and account management routines with key merchants.
Successfully manage operational requests and coordinate their resolution with internal teams.
Identify initial upsell, cross-sell, or account growth opportunities.
Contribute to merchant retention and satisfaction across the assigned portfolio.
Become a trusted point of contact for key clients and partners.<\/p>\n
