The role
You take over day-to-day media buying and report to the Head of Paid Ads: daily buying, budget allocation and the weekly creative test cycle, so the Head of Paid Ads can focus on creative strategy and new channels. Paid has been scaled from zero to a six-figure monthly budget in under a year, and the plan is to keep scaling aggressively through 2027. Your mandate is to grow spend while holding efficiency targets.<\/p>\n
The account today
Meta is the core channel, with TikTok and Apple Search Ads also live and scaling. On Meta you'll run both in-app install campaigns and a growing web-to-app funnel. V2 of the app just shipped, so there's lots of fresh surface to test.<\/p>\n
What you'll own
Scaling: growing spend across all live campaigns, in-app and web-to-app, and across geos.
Creative testing: launching new creative into test, reading results at the ad level and scaling what works.
Unit economics: calculating target cost per trial off current unit economics and holding the account to it; feeding trial-to-paid data back into buying decisions.
Reporting: pulling from Meta, Singular and paywall data, reconciling the sources and flagging when they drift apart.
Signal: working with the CTO on Event Match Quality, CAPI and deduplication.<\/p>\n

Who we're looking for
35+ years of hands-on paid media in consumer subscription apps, ideally iOS trial-to-paid.
Has personally run a Meta account at $1M+\/month, hands-on in the account daily.
Fluent with an MMP (Singular ideal, AppsFlyer or Adjust fine): pulls your own data, joins it to Meta on IDs, and can explain why the sources disagree.
Post-ATT literate: works off a calibrated blended number, not platform-reported ROAS.
Deep on the signal side: EMQ, CAPI, server-side events, deduplication.
Comfortable with Advantage+ and broad targeting.
Web-to-app funnel experience (Superwall, FunnelFox or similar) alongside install campaigns.<\/p>\n
Strong pluses: TikTok Ads; APIs \/ MCP tooling to build your own reporting; working alongside a creator or UGC program; health, fitness or nutrition apps; Apple Search Ads or AppLovin; having taken an account through a major signal change.<\/p>\n
Compensation
Base + monthly performance bonus: $1K for hitting both the ROAS and spend targets, $2K for hitting both stretch targets.
Targets are set monthly with the Head of Paid Ads as the account scales.
1015 days PTO plus local public holidays.
