About the position:
We are looking for a Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to take full ownership of retention marketing for Mirai Clinical, focusing on email, SMS, subscriptions, loyalty, and repeat purchases.
Your main goal is to increase customer lifetime value (LTV) by improving the customer journey, optimizing automated flows, running effective campaigns, and turning performance data into measurable results.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the entire process yourself from planning and copywriting to design, execution, analytics, and optimization.<\/p>\n
Hard Skills:
Retention marketing: 3+ years of experience in retention or lifecycle marketing for a DTC brand, including 2+ years as the primary Klaviyo operator.
Klaviyo: Strong hands-on experience with flows, campaigns, segmentation, A\/B testing, and deliverability.
E-commerce & subscriptions: Experience with Shopify Plus and subscription platforms such as Loop, Recharge, or Skio.
Analytics: Ability to track and improve flow revenue, revenue per send, repeat purchase rate, subscription retention, and LTV.
Email creation: Strong copywriting and design skills, including the use of AI tools to create professional, on-brand emails.
Technical skills: HTML, CSS, and email templating logic sufficient to troubleshoot dynamic content.
Loyalty & reviews: Experience with platforms such as Yotpo, Okendo, or Smile.io.
English: Native-level English copywriting skills.<\/p>\n

Strong ownership and ability to manage the entire process independently.
Analytical thinking and a focus on measurable business outcomes.
Proactive approach to identifying problems and improving performance.
Clear communication and the ability to explain results to senior leadership.
Comfortable making decisions, testing hypotheses, and taking responsibility for results.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities:
1. Email Marketing & Klaviyo
Audit, build, and optimize automated email flows.
Plan and execute at least 15 campaigns per month.
Manage lists, segments, signup forms, and list growth.
Monitor deliverability, inbox placement, spam complaints, and active profiles.
Run A\/B tests and optimize campaign performance.
2. SMS & Visitor Identification
Manage SMS marketing through Postscript.
Use Tie to identify website visitors and bring qualified profiles into Klaviyo.
Work with purchase-intent segments and monitor costs against generated revenue.
3. Subscription Management
Own the Loop Subscriptions program end to end.
Manage subscription plans, product swaps, skips, and cancellation flows.
Optimize subscriber communications and retention.
Maintain and improve subscription-related emails within Loop.
4. Email Copy & Design
Write email copy and create designs independently, using AI tools and templates.
Ensure consistent branding across Klaviyo, Loop, Yotpo, Trustpilot, and Postscript.
Validate AI-generated content and ensure its accuracy before publishing.
5. Tracking & Analytics
Ensure Shopify, Loop, and website events are correctly tracked in Klaviyo.
Set up new events and triggers when needed.
Build and maintain reporting dashboards.
Track flow revenue, revenue per send, open and click rates, repeat purchases, subscription retention, and monthly LTV.
Present weekly performance results to senior leadership and explain what drives changes in the numbers.
6. Loyalty & Reviews
Manage Yotpo loyalty and rewards rules.
Optimize review request flows.
Use loyalty points and customer review data in campaigns and automations.<\/p>\n
It will be a plus:
Experience taking over and rebuilding an agency-managed retention marketing account without disrupting live campaigns.
Experience with anonymous visitor identification tools such as Tie or Retention.com.
Familiarity with Triple Whale and AI-powered email creation tools such as Kopi AI.
Experience managing multiple email templates and marketing tools within a DTC brand.<\/p>\n

Klaviyo, Shopify Plus, Loop Subscriptions, Triple Whale, Tie, Postscript, Kopi AI, Canva, Yotpo Loyalty & Reviews, and Trustpilot.<\/p>\n
Working Conditions:
Fully remote a dedicated in-house role with direct ownership of retention marketing.
Core hours: The team starts at 7:00 a.m. New York Eastern Time and works from a shared Zoom virtual office during agreed hours.
Collaborative setup: You'll stay connected with the team, use breakout rooms for focused work, ask questions verbally, and share your screen when useful.
Role format: Hands-on execution with end-to-end responsibility for campaigns, automations, reporting, and performance.
