About the role
We are looking for a strategic and business-results-driven Head of SEO who will take full ownership of building and scaling the SEO function as an autonomous, highly profitable business unit.
The role combines classic Product & Technical JS SEO expertise with advanced Parasite SEO approaches to capture top search positions in highly competitive GEOs rapidly.
As Head of SEO, you'll be responsible not only for organic growth, but also for the financial performance of the channel including traffic, FTD, ROI, and revenue. You'll build and lead the SEO team, develop scalable strategies, identify new growth opportunities, manage budgets, and work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, PR, Marketing, and Founders.<\/p>\n
What we're looking for:<\/p>\n
5+ years of experience in SEO, including at least 2 years in a Head \/ Lead position within highly competitive niches
Deep expertise in Parasite SEO (key focus):Practical experience building, launching, and scaling Parasite SEO as an autonomous traffic and FTD generation channel
Deep understanding of the criteria for selecting, analyzing, and testing third-party donor platforms, including Web 2.0, media, paid, and partner subdomains\/directories
Ability to work with high-volume, highly competitive search queries where standard on-site SEO is not sufficient
Experience rapidly ranking pages in the TOP positions, with a strong understanding of indexing, link equity transfer, anchor profiles, and the algorithms affecting the stability of parasite domains<\/p>\n
JS & Technical SEO: Practical experience optimizing and promoting websites built on JavaScript frameworks, including React, Next.js, Nuxt, and Angular. Deep understanding of SSR, SSG, CSR, crawlability, and indexation
Product SEO & Development: Experience creating technical specifications for Engineering \/ Development teams and overseeing their implementation
Algorithmic Adaptability: Deep understanding of Google Core Updates and anti-spam systems, with experience recovering websites from penalties\/filters and restoring organic traffic
SERM & Off-Page: Experience in SERM \/ Brand Protection, as well as managing link building, digital PR, and outreach strategies
Management & Data: Proven experience managing an SEO team, establishing processes, managing budgets, and understanding the connection between SEO, FTD, Revenue, and ROI
Tools & AI: Confident use of Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, BI systems, and practical implementation of AI tools into SEO processes
What you'll do:<\/p>\n
Build Parasite SEO as a scalable business direction (key focus):Develop, implement, and scale a full Parasite SEO strategy across key GEOs, including Tier-1\/2\/3 markets
Identify, evaluate, and acquire\/rent effective donor platforms for Parasite SEO
Test new off-page approaches, assess risks, calculate unit economics, and rapidly scale combinations that generate ROI
Rapidly capture search results for money-making queries without critical dependence on the development of the core product<\/p>\n
Drive SEO strategy and business growth: Develop and implement a global SEO strategy across brand and non-brand search. Scale successful hypotheses, identify new growth opportunities, and take ownership of financial metrics including traffic, FTD, ROI, and overall revenue
Technical SEO & JS frameworks: Conduct technical audits and optimize websites built on JS frameworks. Work deeply with SSR, CSR, Dynamic Rendering, Crawl Budget, and Core Web Vitals in close collaboration with the development team
SERM & Brand Protection: Build and develop the SERM function, push negative content out of TOP search results, manage branded SERPs, and protect the reputation of the company's brands
Team & process management: Hire, mentor, and scale the SEO team. Implement KPI\/OKR frameworks and build an autonomous operating model without micromanagement
Budget management & cross-functional collaboration: Efficiently allocate monthly SEO budgets and collaborate with Product, Analytics, PR, Marketing teams, and Founders
It would be a plus:<\/p>\n
Strong focus on financial results, including FTD and ROI, rather than position-based metrics alone
An existing network of proven platforms\/partners for Parasite SEO
Strong leadership skills, including transparent delegation, the ability to develop specialists, and the ability to quickly adapt strategy to algorithm changes
