Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scale cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and compliance
- Use configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Docker & Multipass) to deploy cloud infrastructure, platform stack, HTTP/TLS security, and compliance assets
- Showcase speed, agility, quality, security, development, and operations for platform products; establish standardization, processes, and procedures towards these goals
- Engineer web application cloud infrastructure, unit test, continuous integration, and continuous deployments
- Scale and ensure operational systems that will utilize monitoring and alerting for production components
- Automate routine tasks to provide scalability to operations
- Anticipate and identify problems and seeks novel, timely, practical solutions
- Support on-call rotation to ensure 24×7 coverage of our infrastructure
- Demonstrate a collaborative attitude and partner-first approach
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years related technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent complex problem solving and critical thinking skills. Competency with shell scripting, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Configuration-as-Code
- Cloud and DevSecOps Engineering: Cloud and Core Networking; Network Security technologies and best practices; Production support and GitOps Workflow; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployments utilizing Git and Containerization
- Experience working with Cloud Providers (ex. AWS and Azure)
Desired Qualifications:
- Virtualization technologies and best practices (Virtual Machines and Containerization)
- Coding Single Page Applications (React and/or Angular), Typescript, NodeJS, SQL (MySQL, Postgres), and Web Application Services
- Hands-on understanding of modern software technologies including cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, security, and compliance
- Maintain high performance and secure production environment
- Technology related degrees or certifications preferred
- Previous experience working in a start-up environment
