HID’s Product Security & Privacy Program:

Reporting directly to the CTO, our corporate-wide mission is to drive security and privacy by design principles into all HID Global product development. We work with the product teams to drive best practices and help deliver more secure and privacy-enhancing solutions.

As our Product Security & Privacy Program Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Acting as a corporate-wide tool maven and leading the roll-out of corporate-wide product security tools across HID Global.
  • Undergoing training to become a recognized expert in the selected tools
  • Coordinating with the product teams to schedule deployment of the tools
  • Deploying tools in the manner appropriate for each product team environment
  • Training product teams how to use and manage the tools

What we will love about your background: 

  • Experience working with SAST and SCA tools within different development and build environments
  • The desire to transition into a more offensive security role

Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Minimum of 3 years working in an engineering design and development organization
  • Good knowledge and experience working with configuring build environment system tools (e.g., Maven, Bitbucket, git, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience will also be considered
  • Experience installing or managing SAST or SCA tools, especially for a large enterprise
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • The selected candidate must be available to support work hours to accommodate multiple, international time zones.
