HID’s Product Security & Privacy Program:

Reporting directly to the CTO, our corporate-wide mission is to drive security and privacy by design principles into all HID Global product development. We work with the product teams to drive best practices and help deliver more secure and privacy-enhancing solutions.

As our Product Security & Privacy Program Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Building relationships within HID Global’s IT teams to effectively collect and maintain relevant documentation and stay up to date on potential changes
  • Building and maintaining a repository of resources for product teams to use to complete customer security/privacy questionnaires
  • Working with HID and Assa Abloy teams to research regulatory requirements affecting product security and privacy and provide guidance to the product teams
  • Proactively identifying the needs for customer-facing documentation to support sales and questionnaires
  • Creating customer-facing documentation about HID Global’s Product Security and Privacy Program

What we will love about your background: 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with different business areas to assist multiple engineering teams with broad differences in technologies, design principles, and customer expectations
  • Effective communication skills and being able to discuss technical topics to groups with a wide range of backgrounds
  • General knowledge of security and privacy issues and technical controls (e.g., ISO, SOC, CSA)
  • Understanding of security and privacy threats and technical controls
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide tools and training users

Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience with product development, program management, information security or related field.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • The selected candidate must be available to support work hours to accommodate schedules within the GMT, Eastern and Central time zones.
