We are looking for an experienced Senior level Infrastructure Engineer that will help us build and maintain our cloud based infrastructure that stores the world’s internet security inventory. Your primary focus will be the architecture design, implementation and management of cloud based infrastructure that services data warehouses, web applications, databases and more. You’ll join a small team of highly skilled professionals, bring best practices and experience, and have the opportunity to share our culture.
Your responsibilities
- Architect new cloud based infrastructure to service our growing portfolio of products
- Design and implement processes for change management
- Assist and design CI/CD pipelines for our software teams to continuously deploy to development, staging and production environments
- Document existing and future infrastructure
- Build operation playbooks for incident monitoring and recovery
- Evaluate new technologies for management and monitoring of infrastructure
- communicate with stakeholders and peers in English
- work with a minimum of four hours of overlap with EST 09:00 – 17:00
You are skilled in
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification
- Highly experienced in Linux systems Administration
- Experience in container/workload tooling and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, etc)
- Deep understanding of content delivery optimization utilizing Content Delivery Networks, horizontal scaling, traffic routing and redundancy
- Experience in managing infrastructure for data warehouse/pipeline tooling (HDFS, ElasticSearch, Kafka)
- Experience working in project management/communication tools (JIRA, Slack, Zoom, etc)
- Understanding of infrastructure as code tooling such as AWS Cloudformation, CodeDeploy, Github, Github Actions, etc
- Understanding of monitoring tools for infrastructure and application performance monitoring
Nice to have
- Understanding of other Cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud)
- Understanding of Fastly as a delivery platform
- Understanding of Web Application architecture for Next.js+Vercel
