Intern / Junior QA Engineer (gamedev)

Requirements:

6 months of commercial or semi-professional experience in game testing
Active player on mobile and/or PC platforms with understanding of casual, midcore, and hardcore game genres
Understanding of core game mechanics including progression, economy, difficulty, and balance
Experience testing mobile and/or PC games
Understanding of the bug lifecycle
Clear distinction between bug, feature, and improvement
Understanding of bug priority and severity
Ability to reliably reproduce issues
Ability to write clear and structured bug reports
Experience working with test cases and checklists
Basic experience with Jira, YouTrack, or similar issue-tracking systems
Confident use of Google Docs, Sheets, or Notion
Understanding of smoke, regression, and sanity testing
Basic knowledge of functional and non-functional testing
English level sufficient for reading documentation and writing bug reports

Responsibilities:

Test mobile and PC game builds according to test plans and checklists
Identify, reproduce, and document issues with clear reproduction steps
Verify fixes and perform regression testing
Collaborate with developers, designers, and the producer or PM
Participate in feature testing throughout the development lifecycle
Ensure overall product quality before releases
Follow QA processes and project guidelines

Equipment requirements:

iPhone with актуальная iOS, preferably iOS 15 or higher
PC or laptop suitable for running PC games, emulators, and debug builds
