Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented specialist who understands the software testing process, is able to independently identify and document defects, and wants to grow by working with complex technological products.

Responsibilities
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Test web applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and APIs.
Verify the correct operation of mobile applications across various devices, operating system versions, and network conditions.
Analyze requirements and prepare test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports).
Identify, reproduce, and document defects.
Verify correct data processing and the interaction between system components.
Collaborate with developers and the project team to ensure product quality.
Participate in the improvement of testing processes.

Our expectations for a successful candidate
At least 1 year of commercial experience in Manual QA.
Practical experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
Understanding of mobile-specific testing aspects: permissions, push notifications, background mode, and app installation/updates.
Understanding of the SDLC, STLC, and core testing methodologies.
Knowledge of test design techniques.
Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL and an understanding of how databases work.
Experience working with Jira or other task management systems.
Ability to independently analyze bugs, isolate issues, and clearly document test results.
English proficiency sufficient for working with documentation.
Familiar with modern AI generative models (e.g., Anthropic Claude)

An advantage would be
Experience testing complex systems with numerous integrations.
Understanding of client-server architecture.
Experience working with logs and browser developer tools (DevTools).
Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
Experience testing systems that utilize AI/ML, data processing algorithms, or other DeepTech technologies.
Experience working with Android Studio, Xcode, and mobile device emulators and simulators.
An interest in developing automated testing.
