Analytics Engineer Finance and Marketing Operations (with conversational spanish)

About the role
The backbone of our digital business relies on flawless financial & marketing operations. We
are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Analytics Engineer to manage and
optimize our core data architecture.
In this role, you will be the absolute owner of the daily data operations that feed our PSP
(Payment Service Providers), TAX, Controlling, overall Finance reporting, and our Marketing
campaign cost tracking. You will ensure our Pentaho ETLs run smoothly via Jenkins, our
MariaDB instances are highly performant, and our Qlik Sense dashboards provide the exact
numbers our stakeholders need. This is a high-impact role where precision and stability are
non-negotiable.

What you will do
Architecture Management: Own, maintain, and optimize our core ETL pipelines
using Pentaho Kettle (version 9.3 Community).
Database & Automation: Manage complex data transformations and queries in
MariaDB, and ensure all automated jobs are orchestrated flawlessly through Jenkins.
Finance & Marketing Domain Ownership: Work daily with transactional data,
payment gateways (PSP), Tax reporting, Controlling reconciliations, and the daily
ingestion of marketing campaign costs from various ad platforms.
BI & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain critical financial dashboards and
reports in Qlik Sense, extracting logical conclusions and actionable insights.
Production Troubleshooting: Diagnose and debug data issues in a live production
environment, ensuring financial closing and daily reporting are never delayed.

Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of experience implementing ETL processes, managing
databases, and building BI solutions.
Tech Stack (Essential): Deep expertise in Pentaho Kettle (or similar legacy ETL
tools like Talend or Informatica), relational databases (MariaDB, MySQL,
PostgreSQL), and job orchestration via Jenkins.
BI Tools: Strong experience in Qlik Sense. Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is
also valid.
Domain Knowledge: Proven experience working with Finance data (Payment
Service Providers, Tax reporting, Controlling processes) and Marketing data
(ingesting campaign costs and ad spend tracking).
Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, and robust error-handling in production.
Soft Skills: Ability to work well under time constraints (especially during month-end
financial closings), outstanding communication skills, and a methodical, diagnostic
mindset.
