Backend Developer

Develop, maintain, and support backend applications and services;
Develop REST APIs and integrate them with other systems;
Design databases and ensure efficient data management;
Optimize existing backend systems and improve their performance;
Investigate and resolve technical issues;
Write clean, readable, and maintainable code;
Develop new features and improve existing functionality;
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members;
Participate in code review processes;
Maintain technical documentation and follow development standards.
Requirements
At least 2 years of professional experience with one or more programming languages – Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, PHP, Ruby, Kotlin, Rust, or other programming languages used for backend development;
Practical experience in backend development;
Experience working with REST APIs and web services;
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases;
Knowledge of Git and version control systems;
Understanding of OOP, data structures, and core software engineering principles;
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms;
Ability to optimize code and troubleshoot performance issues;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker;
Knowledge of CI/CD processes;
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
Experience with microservices architecture;
Knowledge of message brokers and asynchronous processing;
Experience with unit and integration testing;
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
General understanding of DevOps processes.
