Chief Compliance Officer

TODA Pay is an international fintech company operating in the digital payments and financial infrastructure space across multiple jurisdictions. We support high-growth payment operations with multi-currency transactions, crypto payments, and complex corporate structures.

We are looking for an experienced Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead TodaPay's compliance function and build a scalable, risk-based compliance framework supporting our international growth.
This is a senior leadership position with broad responsibility for regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, financial crime risk, governance, and regulatory relationships. The ideal candidate combines strong regulatory expertise with sound commercial judgment and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Requirements
5+ years of senior experience in compliance, AML, financial crime, or regulatory roles within a fintech, PSP, EMI, bank, acquiring business, or other regulated financial institution.
Proven experience leading or significantly developing a compliance function.
Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC/KYB, financial crime, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment processing, acquiring, cross-border payments, and card schemes.
Good understanding of Visa and Mastercard compliance requirements.
Experience dealing with regulators, banks, payment partners, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
Experience with high-risk industries such as crypto, online gambling, betting, forex, or similar sectors is highly desirable.
Strong experience developing compliance policies, controls, risk assessments, and governance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities
Lead and own TodaPay's overall compliance framework and strategy across relevant jurisdictions.
Advise the CEO, senior management, and Board on regulatory, AML, sanctions, financial crime, and compliance matters.
Develop and maintain effective AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, compliance monitoring, and risk management frameworks.
Oversee the company's compliance with applicable payment services, AML/CFT, sanctions, card scheme, and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain oversight of regulatory obligations, licensing requirements, and relationships with regulators, banks, payment partners, and other key stakeholders.
Lead compliance risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation, monitoring, escalation, and reporting of material risks.
Provide compliance oversight for new products, markets, payment flows, merchants, and strategic business initiatives.
Ensure effective management of high-risk customers and business partners.
Monitor regulatory developments and lead the implementation of relevant regulatory changes.
Establish a strong compliance culture across the organization and ensure compliance is embedded into business and product decision-making.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing compliance team.
