Contract UI Designer

Our client is a US-market gaming product company looking for a contract UI designer to work closely with the product team on an ongoing basis. The scope covers both product design and illustration so this role suits someone who thinks in systems but can also produce polished visuals from scratch.

What you'll work on:
End-to-end mobile UI design: user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, component libraries
UX flows for new features and product improvements across iOS and Android
Custom illustrations character, environment, or UI-adjacent depending on product needs
Working directly with product and engineering to bring designs to production
Maintaining visual consistency across the product

What they're looking for:
A strong mobile UI portfolio that shows both design thinking and visual quality
Illustration skills that go beyond icons you can produce polished custom artwork
Experience designing for consumer mobile products (gaming background is a plus)
Figma proficiency required; experience with animation or motion is a bonus
Someone who can work independently from a brief without needing constant feedback loops

Format: Part-time contractor, ~20 hours/week
