Full Stack Engineer

ScrumLaunch is a software development company supporting fast-growing US startups across different industries. We work as an extension of our clients' teams, helping them build and scale products with distributed engineering and product talent.
We're currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer / Tech Lead to join a healthcare project and take a key technical role within an international engineering team.

What you'll do
Take technical ownership of key areas of the product and contribute to architectural and technical decisions;
Lead the development of new features across frontend and backend;
Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers;
Conduct code reviews and help maintain high engineering and code quality standards;
Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, product, and other stakeholders to define technical solutions;
Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve the existing architecture;
Balance hands-on development with technical leadership responsibilities;
Support and improve existing functionality while contributing to the long-term scalability and maintainability of the product.
What we're looking for
5+ years of commercial software development experience;
Strong experience with Node.js;
Strong experience with React;
Experience with Angular is preferred;
Strong understanding of REST APIs, modern web application architecture, and software design principles;
Experience making architectural and technical decisions;
Previous experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, or acting as a Tech Lead / Senior Engineer with significant ownership;
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
Experience working in cross-functional and distributed engineering teams;
Good English communication skills (B2+).
Nice to have
Healthcare / HealthTech experience;
Previous formal Tech Lead experience;
Experience working with US-based clients or distributed international teams.
