Middle QA Engineer (Manual and Automation / AI-assisted)

Responsibilities
Thoroughly analyze and test product requirements and specifications.
Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to develop test strategies, test plans, and risk assessments.
Perform functional, system, regression, and cross-platform testing of web platforms and mobile applications (iOS / Android / Desktop).
Perform API testing (Postman, Swagger) and analyze network traffic/requests (DevTools, Charles/Fiddler).
Develop, maintain, and run automated tests (Web UI / API) to reduce manual regression effort.
Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) to generate test scenarios, test data, accelerate test automation writing, and analyze requirements.
Create, maintain, and update test documentation (test cases, checklists, test suites).
Report bugs in issue trackers (Jira), monitor their lifecycle, and assist the team in troubleshooting complex defects.
Prepare QA reports based on test execution results and control feature readiness for release.

Requirements
3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
QA testing experience in at least one of the following domains: Fintech, Marketplaces / E-commerce, or Gaming (Mobile/Web).
Practical experience in test automation (API or Web UI) using popular languages/frameworks (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) in daily QA workflows for test case generation, code assistance, or data analysis.
Deep understanding of software testing theory, development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and SDLC/STLC.
Solid experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman / Swagger.
Experience with web developer tools (Chrome DevTools) and proxy tools (Charles, Fiddler, Proxyman).
Practical experience with SQL at a basic to intermediate level (writing simple to medium-complexity queries).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
English proficiency level Intermediate (B1+) or higher (reading/writing documentation, verbal/written communication).

Will be a plus
Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Experience testing payment systems, billing, or transaction flows.
Understanding of marketplace domain specifics (categories, search, cart, recommendation engines) or game mechanics (In-App Purchases, live-ops, balance).
