About the Role:
As a Data Scientist, you will help grow our Marketplace and contribute to the success of our software buyers, reviewers, and sellers. You will design algorithms that mine our 1 million+ reviews and software usage dataset to make recommendations, discover trends and report on customer satisfaction. You will help grow our review base by providing data-driven ways of optimizing the user experience and moderating content. Data Scientists report to the Senior Manager of Data Science and Analytics but work closely with our Product Management, Engineering, and Design teams.

Responsibilities:
– Research and develop algorithms that aggregate user review data into meaningful scores, visualizations, and comparisons for buyers evaluating technology
– Improve content moderation, customer retention, and/or other internal initiatives through the use of machine learning models
– Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand company needs and devise possible solutions for buyers and sellers
– Introduce new tools and methodologies into the data science team’s ways of working improving the design of our solutions and speed to deployment
– Design, code, experiment and implement models and algorithms to maximize customer experience, business outcomes, and infrastructure readiness
– Support operations by automating data collection, data delivery, and other internal processes

Requirements:
– 3+ years experience in Data Science with Natural Language Processing expertise
– Proficiency with designing and deploying Machine Learning models in a cloud environment
– Expertise in SQL and Python, PySpark, Tensorflow Tech stack
– Experience working cross-functionally across different departments to deliver impact
– Ability to plan projects, communicate timelines and evaluate tradeoffs of various approaches
– Eagerness to take on responsibility and explore new solutions
