Senior Lawyer

Now we're looking for a Senior Lawyer to turn complex regulations into practical solutions that protect our users, our business, and our growth.

About you:
4+ years of experience at product/tech companies.
A law degree from a Ukrainian or foreign university.
At least upper-intermediate English.
Experience advising companies across the business lifecycle, including commercial, corporate, compliance, and IP matters.
What you'll do:
Identify and assess legal risks in consumer protection, data privacy, and IP across our key markets: the USA, EU.
Develop practical legal solutions that protect Applyft's interests and help our products grow.
Partner with product, marketing, engineering, and finance teams to build compliance into our apps from the start, from subscription flows and in-app messaging to data collection and location features.
Ensure our apps meet App Store and Google Play requirements and help resolve platform review issues.
Build new and improve existing legal processes to manage risks proactively.
Support the business in regulatory inquiries, platform disputes, and consumer claims.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into clear, actionable guidance for the team.
Work directly with senior leadership in a small legal team, with real ownership from day one.
Nice to have:
Expertise in US and EU consumer protection laws: FTC Act, ROSCA, state auto-renewal laws, the Omnibus Directive, etc.
Understanding of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other data protection frameworks, especially in relation to sensitive data.
Experience with mobile app compliance, including subscription apps and App Store / Google Play policies.
Practical knowledge of AI tools and their use cases in legal work.
