Description
The client operates a luxury property rental platform featuring high-end properties, including villas across the UK. The project involves testing new features and functionality to ensure a high-quality user experience and reliable platform performance.

Requirements
We're looking for a mature Performance tester with solid experience in the following:
Setting up performance testing frameworks from scratch.
Working with React, PHP (Laravel), Headless WordPress and AWS.
Locating latency spikes across payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) and third-party APIs (e.g., Airbnb sync).
Using tools like k6, JMeter, Gatling or Locust to stress test APIs and web apps.
Scripting Core Flows: Benchmarking key user journeys (search, booking, checkout) under high load.
Good level of English

Job responsibilities
Define, implement and maintain a lightweight performance testing setup tailored to the platform architecture.
Build test scripts for critical user journeys, including page loads, search/booking engine throughput and checkout operations.
Diagnose performance issues across middleware, caching layers and backend APIs, prioritizing the audit of recent checkout latency spikes (e.g., PayPal integration).
Test and benchmark API communication, queuing and throughput under load for owner portals and third-party channel integrators (e.g., Airbnb).
Partner with dev/infra teams to deliver actionable optimization findings and create reusable documentation for existing QA engineers to run ongoing checks.
