Java Engineer with AI/ML Experience

In this role, you'll join the engineering team of a global telecom technology company as a fully
integrated member, with TR Labs as your employer and support.

What you'll do
Design, build, and ship production-grade software within the client's platform, primarily in Java
Develop and evolve backend services, integrations, and data flows
Contribute to AI/ML and LLM-based initiatives as the product roadmap requires
Work with product and engineering stakeholders to turn business problems into reliable technical solutions
Write clean, tested, well-documented code and take part in code reviews and architecture discussions

What we're looking for
4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with Java as your main language
Proven hands-on experience with AI/ML and LLM-based solutions (e.g. model integration, RAG,
agents, vector databases, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and CI/CD
Solid knowledge of SQL and data handling at scale
Fluent English, written and spoken
Ability to work independently in a client-facing, distributed team

Nice to have
Python, plus experience with other languages such as Go or TypeScript
Telecom domain experience (roaming, billing, signaling, network data)
MLOps experience (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, or similar)
Kubernetes and microservices architecture
